Steps

  7. Type in a specific name for the PC that you are activating Kaspersky on when the “Activate Now” dialog box pops up. Use a unique name that you have not used when activating the product on other computers, or you will get an error. It’s best to use something that identifies that specific computer, such as “kid’s” or “work” Click “Next” to continue’
  8. Verify that your product is active by viewing the confirmation dialog box that lists the expiry date, computer description, and serial number. If the product did not activate, you will not have up-to-date anti-virus protection.
  9. Download the necessary updates for the software and scan your computer for viruses and spyware.
